Pa Hassan Fasinro, a Senator in the Second Republic and the first Clerk of Lagos City Council is dead. He was aged 99 years.
Popularly called HAB, Fasinro, a founding father of Lagos State, reportedly died at exactly 8:29 pm, Sunday evening after a brief illness.
In his condolence message to the family and people, Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, expressed sadness over the death and described him as one of the greatest Lagos men.
