OGBONNAYA IKOKWU
The Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers has endorsed Governor Okezie Ikpeazu as the only candidate that would contest the 2019 Governorship election in Abia State.
The traditional rulers from all autonomous communities in the state cited good performance in office, equity and the prevailing peace in the state as the reason for the endorsement.
The endorsement was contained in a communiqué signed by the chairman of Abia State Traditional Rulers Council, Eze Eberechi Dick, and the representatives of traditional rulers from the 17 local governments in the state during a general meeting of traditional rulers in Umuahia, the state capital on Friday.
