The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has urged the people of the state to remain calm and law-abiding while his deputy, Prof Kolapo Olusola, seeks to reclaim his mandate at the election petitions tribunal.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Dr Kayode Fayemi, as the winner of the July 14 governorship poll.

Olusola is the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in the election.

Fayose spoke in Ado-Ekiti during the inspection of the ongoing King’s Market project, which was nearing completion.

According to a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Idowu Adelusi, the governor expressed hope that Olusola would eventually have his mandate restored.
